Need a Program which returns size of VTOC.

I have written a system to assist in our Disaster Recovery efforts. One of the things the system does is build ICKDSF Init jobs for DASD at our "hot site". On volumes that are not being restored at the site, but the volumes need to be available (like DB2 volumes), I need to know the VTOC size. In a perfect world, this information should be available in the DCOLLECT Volume record, but, of course it isn't. Currently I am getting this information (in batch) by running ISPF's DSLIST. Does anyone know of a shareware program that by passing a single Volser, the VTOC size is returned to the caller? Would it be possible to get this information via a REXX program? Thanks.
