THIS COLUMN WILL CONCLUDE MY RECENT MUSINGS ON THE SUBJECT OF databases. If I write any more on the database subject, it will be in passing only. The thought occurred to me that a good conclusion to this brief three-month digression into databases would be some background information on just what ends up being stored in databases. Or, using the big box store analogy: What manner of goods ends up on the virtual shelves of a data store? And the answer is: That depends upon the business or entity that
owns the database.
